Data Scientist / Principal Investigator

CACI is seeking a Principal Investigator and Technical Leader for their AI/ML Research and Integration Team in Denver, CO. This hands-on role involves shaping research, leading teams through technical challenges, and developing prototypes into scalable capabilities for defense and national security customers. The position requires a strong background in machine learning and the ability to architect end-to-end AI systems.

• Serve as Principal Investigator and technical lead for applied AI research efforts
• Define research questions, technical approaches, milestones, and evaluation plans
• Remain hands-on in designing experiments, building prototypes, and troubleshooting technical issues
• Architect end-to-end AI systems integrating models, data pipelines, and deployment infrastructure
• Lead cross-functional teams of data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts
• Drive transition of prototypes into secure, production-grade capabilities using MLOps and CI/CD

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Requires a Ts Sci security clearance.
