Neuroscience Research Associate / Research Specialist

Altos Labs is seeking a Neuroscience Research Associate/Specialist to join the Rosi Lab in the Bay Area. This role involves performing in vivo brain surgeries and animal behavior assays to generate disease models and uncover mechanisms of brain health. You will contribute to the company's mission of cell rejuvenation to reverse disease and restore cellular health.

• Perform precise cranial window and stereotaxic brain surgeries in murine models
• Deliver AAV vectors and therapeutic agents with accuracy
• Manage end-to-end surgical workflow including pre-op, anesthesia, and post-op care
• Generate disease models and timed cohorts for neurodegenerative research
• Conduct complex animal behavior assays
• Maintain detailed surgical records and adhere to IACUC protocols
