Research Scientist, Biologics Analytics

Vertex is seeking a Research Scientist to join our Biologics Analytics team in Boston, MA. In this lab-based role, you will develop and optimize LC-MS methods to characterize novel biologics and genetic therapies, contributing to the advancement of next-generation medicines. We are looking for an independent and curious scientist eager to make an impact on patients' lives.

• Develop and optimize LC-MS methods for biologics characterization
• Characterize proteins, antibodies, bioconjugates, and lipid nanoparticles
• Serve as subject matter expert for LC-MS analysis
• Collaborate on developability and manufacturability assessments
• Support advancement of novel biologic and genetic therapies
• Strong scientific curiosity and attention to detail
