Director, Data Science

Lead MCG Health's Data Science team in developing advanced AI solutions to improve clinical decision support for payers and providers. This role involves strategic and operational leadership, guiding senior and staff data scientists in creating production-grade AI systems using foundation models and proprietary clinical evidence. You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align AI research with business priorities and ensure the successful delivery of scalable AI capabilities.

• Lead and develop a team of senior and staff data scientists
• Define technical direction and execution plans for AI initiatives
• Ensure successful delivery of production-ready AI models and services
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Clinical teams on AI solutions
• Prototype and evaluate novel AI techniques and large language models
• Establish best practices for AI experimentation and operational excellence
