About this role
As a Senior Data Scientist at YouGov Shopper, you will lead a workstream within a cross-functional team to innovate and enhance our consumer panel purchase data. You'll design and build new components for our automated receipt enrichment framework, applying NLP and ML solutions from concept to production. This role offers the opportunity to own technical direction, mentor colleagues, and drive impactful data science initiatives.
What we are looking for 6
- Lead a data science workstream, defining technical approach and coordinating team members
- Develop and implement NLP and ML solutions for text classification, entity recognition, and semantic search
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Expertise in Python, its data science ecosystem, and strong NLP techniques
- Experience leading projects and coordinating contributions within a team
- Familiarity with cloud environments and ML/data workloads
