Senior Data Scientist - Real World Data

Formation Bio is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their Scientific Data Intelligence team. This role focuses on transforming Real World Data (RWD) from sources like EHRs and claims into structured assets for analysis. You will model and transform data, build scalable pipelines, and conduct analyses to answer research questions and support scientific decision-making across the company's drug portfolio.

• Transform Real World Data (EHR, claims) into analytics-ready datasets
• Build and manage scalable data pipelines using Dagster, dbt, and Snowflake
• Conduct hands-on RWD analyses for scientific and strategic research questions
• Partner with Data Scientists and clinical leads on observational study design
• Implement data validation and observability frameworks
• Apply Generative AI techniques for data structuring and insight generation
