Associate Data Scientist

USC Institute of Urology is seeking an Associate Data Scientist to join their AI Center. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying agentic AI workflows within a healthcare setting, collaborating with a cross-disciplinary team to translate clinical needs into AI-driven solutions. The position focuses on building scalable, production-ready systems to enhance clinical operations and research.

• Support design, development, testing, and deployment of agentic AI workflows
• Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and engineers
• Integrate multi-modal data sources and build scalable systems
• Develop LLM applications beyond prototypes with tool/function calling
• Implement grounding/retrieval and reliability evaluation
• Ensure security and privacy best practices for sensitive data
