Applied Data Scientist – Performance Management & AI Solutions

Leidos is seeking an Applied Data Scientist to solve operational performance challenges for a critical Navy program. You will leverage data, AI, and software development to build practical analytical capabilities and deliver measurable improvements. This hands-on role requires a blend of technical development skills and a consultative mindset to translate complex problems into working solutions.

• Develop and deliver practical solutions using Python, AI, data analytics, and automation
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business problems and translate opportunities into technical solutions
• Build, test, and implement reusable code, analytical tools, and AI-enabled workflows
• Analyze complex operational data to identify performance improvement opportunities and root causes
• Apply AI and machine learning to accelerate analysis and support decision-making
• Communicate technical concepts and recommendations clearly to diverse audiences

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Requires a Secret security clearance.
