About this role

Join MFS as a Quantitative Research Associate to support investment management teams by developing and maintaining risk management and portfolio construction processes. You will engage in research projects to enhance quantitative tools, models, and risk management strategies, while collaborating with analysts and portfolio managers.

What we are looking for

Address data and analytical requests from the investment department
Work on projects related to quantitative alpha models and underlying technology
Assist in developing and implementing quantitative processes for alpha generation, portfolio construction, and risk management
Communicate research results effectively
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
Proficiency in Python, R, or Matlab preferred
