Senior Data Scientist, Defect Quality & Systems

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to transform terabytes of manufacturing data into actionable insights for factory leadership. This role involves the full data lifecycle, from querying and analysis to building dashboards and internal tools. You will also serve as a technical lead, mentor junior engineers, and drive cross-functional projects.

• Mine complex manufacturing datasets to identify critical trends and anomalies
• Design and build user-centric dashboards and internal web-based tools
• Optimize SQL queries and Python scripts for large-scale data handling
• Lead the evolution of analytical tools and upgrade codebase to professional standards
• Architect AI/ML models for predictive analytics
• Specialize in semiconductor defect analytics and visualization
