Data Scientist - Senior Manager

State Street is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their AI/ML Science team focused on Agentic AI platforms. This role involves driving applied research in LLMs, fine-tuning, evaluation, and operationalization, with a focus on production-scale AI deployments. You will collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams to deliver robust agentic solutions.

• Own AI/ML problem statements and objectives leveraging agentic AI
• Lead foundational and domain model evaluation, fine-tuning, and prompt optimization
• Design and implement evaluation frameworks and metrics
• Build and maintain knowledge graphs, embeddings, and inference engines
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy scalable AI solutions
• Conduct experiments, analyze results, and communicate findings
