About this role

ClickUp is seeking a Principal Data Analyst to lead product analytics and drive data-informed decision-making. This role will partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Growth teams to establish an AI-native analytics operating model, translate business questions into actionable insights, and influence product roadmap choices. The ideal candidate will leverage AI-first methods to enhance analytical workflows and mentor other analysts.

What we are looking for

Own the product analytics agenda across usage, activation, retention, and expansion
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to define success metrics and improve instrumentation
Build reusable analysis frameworks and self-serve resources for product teams
Apply AI-first methods to analytics workflows for query drafting, QA, and synthesis
Design and interpret experiments and observational analyses
Mentor analysts and elevate team practices in analytical rigor and AI-assisted workflows
