Senior Data Scientist, Gen AI Delivery

Join Caterpillar's Cat Digital team as a Senior Data Scientist focused on Generative AI delivery. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing GenAI models, conducting algorithm research, and mentoring junior team members. This role involves working with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic AI architectures.

• Develop and optimize Generative AI models, including LLMs and RAG
• Conduct research on the latest AI and machine learning advancements
• Implement agentic GenAI solutions and architect workflows
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data scientists
• Utilize Python and deep learning frameworks for AI research and prototyping
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI observability tools
