Hitachi Energy is seeking an Engineering Data Scientist to join their Indian Operation Center in Chennai. This role focuses on driving technical excellence in Data Science by leading high-impact ML initiatives, designing and deploying advanced machine learning models, and analyzing complex datasets to provide strategic business insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect data pipelines, ensure model transparency, and deliver measurable ROI through AI solutions.

• Spearhead high-impact ML initiatives within a cross-functional team
• Design and deploy advanced machine learning models and predictive frameworks
• Analyze high-dimensional datasets to extract patterns and deliver prescriptive recommendations
• Partner with Data Engineers to architect robust pipelines and feature stores
• Leverage tools like Power BI and Python to visualize complex model outputs
