Data and Insights Business Analyst

The City of Vernon is seeking a Data and Insights Business Analyst to provide high-level strategic analysis and business intelligence. This role supports senior leadership and Council by transforming complex municipal datasets into actionable insights for strategic planning, economic development, and investment readiness. You will develop business cases, financial models, and conduct spatial analysis to guide development and unlock revenue opportunities.

• Develop business cases, financial models, and feasibility evaluations
• Conduct advanced spatial analysis and GIS-based assessments
• Monitor demographic indicators and housing data
• Design and maintain organizational performance dashboards and KPIs
• Standardize and integrate cross-departmental data
• Prepare reports and recommendations for senior leadership and Council
