Staff Data Scientist

General Motors is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to develop and deploy production-grade machine learning solutions that drive business impact across sales, service, marketing, and global markets. This hands-on role requires translating complex business problems into analytical objectives, building and validating models, and ensuring their successful integration into production systems.

• Develop, validate, and improve predictive, prescriptive, forecasting, optimization, classification, and segmentation models
• Build scalable, reproducible feature pipelines and reusable analytical assets
• Establish rigorous evaluation frameworks reflecting real-world business outcomes
• Package and deploy models as reliable production services
• Collaborate with product leaders and business owners to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Serve as a technical authority on machine learning and production data science
