Senior Data Scientist

Kemper is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design, develop, and implement predictive modeling and analytical solutions for pricing, product development, and profitable growth. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing analytical workstreams, and providing technical guidance. The position requires strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning concepts, with experience in cloud platforms and MLOps practices being a plus.

• Design, develop, and implement predictive modeling and analytical solutions
• Own analytical and modeling workstreams from problem definition to delivery
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and business partners
• Develop reusable analytical workflows using modern data science and cloud technologies
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced team members
• Experience with Python, SQL, and machine learning techniques
