About this role
As a Data Scientist on the CDRR Technology team, you will develop and deploy statistical and machine learning models to combat fraud risk across Morgan Stanley products. You will independently manage end-to-end model development, from data analysis and feature engineering to model validation and performance monitoring in complex, evolving environments. This role offers the opportunity to mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust, scalable fraud detection solutions.

- Develop and evaluate statistical and machine learning models for fraud detection
- Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering on large, complex datasets
- Apply advanced statistical principles to model selection, validation, and performance assessment
- Monitor deployed models, diagnose performance issues, and recommend improvements
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists
- 6+ years of professional experience in data science or quantitative analytics
