Senior Staff Data Scientist

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Senior Staff Data Scientist to build and deploy machine learning models for business operations and optimize AI agentic systems. This hybrid role involves partnering with business stakeholders to translate challenges into data science problems and owning the full data science lifecycle from concept to deployment.

• Develop and deploy classical ML models for customer churn, supply chain, and finance forecasting
• Optimize generative AI initiatives, including conversational systems and AI agents
• Partner with business stakeholders in marketing, sales, product, and finance
• Own the full data science lifecycle from problem definition to model monitoring
• Translate complex data into actionable insights through data storytelling and visualization
• Collaborate closely with business partners to define technical data requirements
