Walmart is seeking a Distinguished Data Scientist to lead the AI/ML vision for Global Governance, encompassing security, compliance, privacy, and legal domains. This role involves architecting scalable AI solutions, establishing responsible AI standards, and mentoring senior technical talent to transform governance workflows into intelligent, proactive capabilities. You will drive an AI-first approach to both products and their development.

• Define AI/ML strategy for Global Governance domains
• Develop production-scale AI solutions including GenAI and agentic architectures
• Architect reusable AI platforms and establish Responsible AI standards
• Partner with Business, Product, and Engineering for end-to-end solution delivery
• Mentor senior scientists and engineers, driving best practices in MLOps and AI governance
• Deep expertise in machine learning, applied statistics, and production AI systems
