Senior Applied AI Scientist - Multimodal & Computer Vision

The Hartford is seeking a Senior Data Scientist with expertise in computer vision and a passion for experimentation to join their Emerging Tech and Innovation team. This role involves prototyping machine learning models for image and video data, evaluating new AI technologies, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive business value through AI innovation in the insurance landscape.

• Design and prototype machine learning models for image and video data
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and vendors
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify AI innovation opportunities
• Translate ambiguous problems into structured experiments
• Partner with engineering teams to transition prototypes to production
