Principal Analyst, Power Markets Modeler

Yes Energy is seeking a Principal Analyst, Power Markets Modeler to lead the development of asset-level forecasts for North American power markets. You will analyze market fundamentals, regulatory trends, and renewable, thermal, and transmission assets to provide sophisticated insights. This role involves leading complex modeling projects and shaping the technical standards for our data platform.

• Develop and maintain forecasts of the North American electric grid
• Track trends in renewable energy, battery storage, and energy policy
• Automate data ingestion and analysis of model results
• Benchmark and test model accuracy for continuous improvement
• Analyze external US power grid data
• Explain market models and scenarios to clients
