Data Scientist Principal

As a Principal Data Scientist at GDIT, you will build and implement advanced AI/ML solutions to help government clients transform data into actionable insights. You will focus on integrating generative AI, LLMs, and RAG to solve complex big data challenges and advance client missions.

• Integrate advanced AI capabilities and evaluate AI coding tools
• Implement custom and vendor-based AI/ML solutions from prototype to production
• Design and implement AI solutions for automated program tracking and reporting
• Utilize generative AI (GenAI) with LLMs and RAG
• Build an agentic framework for service ticket management and intelligent orchestration
• Leverage AI/ML cloud technologies, preferably on AWS (Bedrock, Lambda, SageMaker)

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

• Requires a Public Trust security clearance.
