Data Scientist (Staff - Senior Staff Levels)

As a Senior Staff Data Scientist at Wonder, you will shape the strategic direction of applied data science and machine learning, mentoring others and collaborating across teams to build scalable, production-grade systems. You will identify high-leverage opportunities across the business, design rigorous frameworks for causal inference and experimentation, and influence key trade-offs to drive business impact.

• Technical thought leader in Data Science, defining principles and best practices
• Mentor and coach a growing team of Data Scientists
• Lead exploration of interconnected marketplace systems and feedback loops
• Develop causal inference and experimentation frameworks for business impact
• Partner with engineering on architecture for data layers, ML services, and experimentation infrastructure
• Champion business-impact-driven data science integrating production ML systems
