Senior Water Data Scientist

WRI seeks a Senior Water Data Scientist to lead technical development for an initiative measuring the impact of nature-based solutions on water security in Latin America and the Caribbean. This hybrid role involves leveraging AI, machine learning, and environmental data to develop innovative monitoring methodologies and bridge scientific research with practical implementation for various stakeholders.

• Lead technical development for measuring NBS/GGI impacts on water security
• Synthesize emerging science and technology into actionable methodologies
• Manage and analyze large environmental datasets using AI and ML
• Author high-quality knowledge products and peer-reviewed publications
• Coordinate interdisciplinary collaboration across WRI teams and external partners
• Contribute to fundraising and proposal development
