Senior Data Science Practitioner

Delta Dental is seeking a Senior Data Science Practitioner to lead the development of analytical data models using SQL and dbt. This role involves understanding insurance practices, applying dimensional modeling, and collaborating with stakeholders to solve complex business challenges through data analysis and research.

• Lead domain-specific analytical data model development with SQL and dbt
• Apply dimensional modeling and software engineering practices
• Source data and apply scalable data modeling methods
• Conduct domain research, analysis, and share findings
• Consult on reporting, analytical, and research issues
• Maintain and develop dbt pipelines and troubleshoot data issues
