Data Ethics & Governance Analyst

WRI seeks a Data Ethics & Governance Analyst for an 18-month hybrid position in Washington D.C. This role involves researching and developing practical approaches to data ethics and governance, with a focus on data sovereignty and benefit-sharing in AI and open data systems. The analyst will contribute to WRI's policies and guidance, engage with stakeholders, and participate in the Civic Science Fellows program.

• Research emerging data governance issues, including AI data sovereignty
• Develop practical approaches to benefit-sharing in open data systems
• Conduct stakeholder engagement and community research
• Translate research findings into WRI policies and guidance
• Participate in the Civic Science Fellows learning community
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
