Data Scientist I – 4-Month Internship/Co-op (Winter 2027)

Mars is seeking a Forecasting Analyst to join their Centre of Excellence in Veghel, Netherlands. This role focuses on driving AI forecasting within the supply chain planning transformation. You will create and maintain statistical forecasts, collaborate with stakeholders, and explain complex data insights in simple terms.

• Create and maintain statistical forecasts for a product portfolio
• Review and resolve exceptions in system-generated forecasts
• Collaborate with market teams, CoE, and external providers
• Explain complex analysis and findings to business stakeholders
• Monitor KPIs and provide insights for continuous improvement
• Provide education on statistical forecasts and gather feedback
