Senior Expert Data Science

Novartis is seeking a Senior Expert Data Science to join their Data and Statistical Sciences team in East Hanover, NJ. This hybrid role focuses on transforming complex scientific data into actionable insights to advance cell and gene therapies. You will collaborate with development scientists and cross-functional teams, applying advanced analytics and machine learning to strengthen process and assay understanding.

• Apply advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical methods to complex bioprocess and experimental datasets
• Build reusable data solutions and pipelines for data ingestion, cleaning, transformation, and integration
• Deliver robust analyses supporting process characterization, monitoring, and control strategy development
• Create clear dashboards, reports, and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences
• Lead data science projects from problem definition through delivery
• Partner with scientific and cross-functional teams to frame critical manufacturing and product-understanding questions
