Sr. Data Scientist

Northern Trust is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to develop software, analyze datasets, and build machine learning models. This role involves working with diverse data sources, applying statistical analysis, and presenting findings to both technical and business stakeholders.

• Develop software in Python to acquire and combine data
• Analyze raw datasets using descriptive statistics
• Build machine learning ensemble methods
• Run large scale training and inference jobs on cloud infrastructure
• Present findings to internal and external customers
• Work across the full research lifecycle from hypothesis to presentation
