About this role
Join Manulife's Global AI Model Validation and Governance team as a Senior Data Scientist to ensure AI models are reliable, fair, and safe before deployment. You will provide independent challenge and validation of AI/ML models, assess performance, identify risks, and ensure compliance with Responsible AI principles.
What we are looking for
6- Validate AI/ML and GenAI models, assessing design, performance, limitations, and risks
- Conduct model testing, benchmarking, and sensitivity analysis
- Evaluate model reliability, fairness, safety, explainability, and fitness for purpose
- Provide independent challenge and constructive feedback to model developers
- Communicate validation findings through clear, evidence-based reports
- Mentor and support junior data scientists
