Security Engineer - Platform Security

Qube Research & Technologies is seeking a Security Engineer to join their new Security team in New York. You will design, build, and operate secure infrastructure platforms, focusing on evaluating and adopting emerging technologies. This role requires strong security expertise and engineering skills to implement scalable controls and manage risk.

• Design and build secure platforms for emerging technologies
• Develop reusable security architectures and guardrails
• Evaluate new technologies and translate risks into practical controls
• Design security across networks, identity, containers, and Kubernetes
• Automate security using infrastructure-as-code and APIs
• Apply LLMs and AI-assisted tooling to enhance security engineering
