Senior Security Research Engineer

Qualys is seeking a Senior Security Research Engineer to join their Threat Research Unit. You will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and developing mitigation techniques for emergent vulnerabilities. This role involves working with new vulnerability data, identifying attack paths, and documenting/presenting mitigation strategies.

• Research and analyze attack surface and vulnerability data
• Develop tailored mitigation strategies and plans
• Identify potential attack paths in critical systems
• Document and present mitigation strategies
• Analyze root cause of vulnerabilities and prioritize mitigations
• Patch diffing and reverse engineering
