About this role
General Motors is seeking a Staff Product Cybersecurity Engineer to join their Secure Product Engineering team. This senior individual contributor role focuses on ensuring software and systems are implemented securely throughout the development lifecycle. You will build tooling, establish secure engineering patterns, and provide technical guidance to product engineering teams across GM's diverse product portfolio.
What we are looking for
6- Serve as a hands-on technical leader in secure software and systems engineering
- Design, build, and mature secure engineering services and capabilities
- Partner with product engineering teams for secure implementation
- Implement and mature SAST, DAST, fuzzing, and OS security hardening
- Author technical guidance, reusable patterns, and guardrails
- Perform in-depth secure code review and mentor engineers
