Senior Security Engineer (Infrastructure)

Chainguard is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to build and secure our multi-cloud infrastructure, which is the foundation of our secure open-source software products. You will collaborate closely with product engineering teams to embed security into our cloud-native environment, ensuring resilience and accelerating development velocity in a fast-paced, AI-focused startup.

• Engineer and maintain secure, resilient, and performant multi-cloud environments (GCP/AWS)
• Embed security into cloud architecture and developer tooling
• Design and enforce secure identity and access management strategies
• Harden cloud platforms against threats and lead DR exercises
• Implement automation and guardrails using Terraform/IaC and Kubernetes
• Secure infrastructure for AI-driven pipelines and agentic workflows
