Sr Active Defense Engineer

Workday is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join their Active Defense team. This role involves protecting the organization from cyber threats by analyzing data, testing defenses, and developing AI-assisted detection and response capabilities. You will collaborate with various teams to understand the threat landscape, execute threat hunting, and identify vulnerabilities.

• 8+ years in incident response, intelligence analysis, vulnerability assessment, security engineering, or security operations
• Experience researching cybersecurity threats and creating security solutions
• Experience using AI-based discovery and exploit creation tools
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Kotlin, Scala, or JavaScript
• Experience responding to cybersecurity incidents and mitigating threats
• Experience executing red team engagements and bypassing security controls
