Principal Embedded Security Engineer

Wayve is seeking a Principal Embedded Security Engineer to design and implement security controls for their autonomous driving vehicle software. You will collaborate with embedded software engineers and the security team to ensure the safety and security of onboard systems, connected services, and data handling. This role involves developing real-time firmware, embedded Linux software, and security tools, as well as performing code reviews and contributing to secure architecture design.

• Design and develop real-time embedded firmware and embedded Linux software for security controls
• Implement security controls for onboard software and connected services
• Partner with security and development teams to identify and address security issues
• Build, deploy, and maintain security tools, libraries, and controls
• Perform code and design reviews to identify and remediate security flaws
• Experience with hardware-based security techniques and cryptography fundamentals
