Cyber Security Analyst

Leidos is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join their Security Operations Center (SOC) in Adelphi, MD. This hybrid role involves 24x7x365 defensive cyber operations, including threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management across on-premises and cloud environments. You will investigate complex threats, analyze network activity, and collaborate with experienced professionals to protect critical Department of War networks.

• Lead incident response investigations from detection to remediation
• Analyze security events, logs, and network data to determine scope and impact
• Acquire and analyze endpoint and network artifacts for malicious activity
• Identify attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
• Tune and maintain SIEM and IDS technologies
• Develop and maintain Incident Response processes and playbooks
