Application Security Analyst

Kemper is seeking an Application Security Analyst to integrate security into the software development lifecycle. You will partner with developers to identify and remediate application risks across modern applications, APIs, and cloud services. This role is crucial for preventing security vulnerabilities and ensuring secure coding practices.

• Integrate security requirements and threat modeling into SDLC processes
• Perform and validate SAST, DAST, SCA, and API security testing
• Conduct security design and architecture reviews
• Provide code-level remediation guidance to developers
• Build and improve CI/CD security controls and scanning integrations
• Prioritize application vulnerabilities based on risk and business context
