Elastic Cloudsecurity Engineer

Design, implement, and maintain systems and tools to automate complex cyber activities using the Elastic Stack. This role involves advanced problem-solving, innovation, and mentoring, with a focus on government cybersecurity environments and log ingestion pipelines.

• 5+ years experience administering Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats, Fleet)
• Manage Elasticsearch index lifecycle policies and build Kibana dashboards for security operations
• Experience with Elastic Security detection rules, alerts, and case management
• Design log ingestion pipelines and map logs to Elastic Common Schema (ECS)
• Experience in government cybersecurity environments (SOC, SIEM)
• Optimize log collections from AWS, endpoints, and network devices
