Security Software Engineer (L6), Security Protocols & Foundations

Netflix is seeking a Security Software Engineer to design and implement foundational security protocols for their global content delivery network. This role involves optimizing crypto and transport security layers, developing host-side DoS resilience, and conducting vulnerability research to ensure the efficiency and security of streaming services.

• Design and build security primitives for streaming protocols
• Develop and own consolidated application security primitives
• Optimize crypto and transport security layers for performance
• Develop mitigations for host-side DoS resilience
• Conduct vulnerability research and mitigation
• Serve as security owner for OC protocols and cryptographic foundations
