R&D Product Security Engineer - Digital Service Solutions

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Product Security Engineer to join their R&D team in Krakow, Poland. This role focuses on embedding cybersecurity requirements into digital service development, ensuring products meet security standards, and providing technical guidance. You will collaborate with cybersecurity leads and product teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring security-by-design principles are applied throughout the development lifecycle.

• Define and maintain cybersecurity requirements for digital solutions
• Provide cybersecurity oversight during digital service development
• Collaborate with cybersecurity leads and central functions
• Support product teams in identifying and mitigating cybersecurity risks
• Act as a cybersecurity point of contact for Service R&D
• 8+ years of experience in product security roles, preferably in the energy sector
