Cyber Security Engineer (Job 1480)

DLH is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to bolster enterprise cybersecurity for a federal client in Bethesda, MD. This role involves strengthening defenses through vulnerability management, secure engineering, DevSecOps integration, and advanced threat detection, all while implementing Zero Trust principles in cloud and on-premises environments. You will proactively identify and mitigate risks, collaborate across teams, and communicate technical findings effectively.

• Integrate Zero Trust Architecture into enterprise environments
• Lead vulnerability management efforts and risk prioritization
• Analyze and operationalize threat intelligence (CVE, CISA KEV)
• Collaborate with DevSecOps to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
• Develop and maintain SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk)
• Perform vulnerability assessments using tools like Tenable Nessus

• Requires a Public Trust security clearance.
