Security Infrastructure Engineer

Leidos is seeking a Security Infrastructure Engineer in Alexandria, VA to automate and enhance security operations. You will transform manual workflows into automated pipelines using Python and develop API integrations to scale threat detection and response. This hybrid role requires a Secret clearance and involves operating and maintaining core cybersecurity capabilities.

• Develop and maintain Python scripts for security infrastructure automation
• Design and integrate custom APIs to connect cybersecurity tools
• Evaluate and integrate AI/ML technologies for threat detection
• Operate and maintain core cybersecurity capabilities (IDS/IPS, SIEM, Linux)
• Ensure adherence to government compliance standards
• Advise leadership on code-driven security infrastructure solutions
