Security Engineer II – Hybrid Cloud

Patient First is seeking a Security Engineer II to enhance cloud-native security across Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. This role involves managing current security operations, vulnerability management, monitoring, and compliance, while also focusing on future-state cloud security controls and governance.

• Implement and maintain Azure security services like Defender for Cloud and Azure Policy
• Configure RBAC, Conditional Access, and identity governance for Azure and Microsoft 365
• Manage centralized logging, alerting, and monitoring for cloud workloads
• Support security gates in deployment workflows and provide security input during architecture reviews
• Investigate alerts, participate in incident response, and support threat hunting
• Ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and PCI frameworks
