Senior Staff Information Security Engineer

NMI is seeking a Senior Staff Information Security Engineer to lead and advance security across their hybrid technology estate, spanning AWS and on-premises infrastructure. This hands-on role involves defining secure architecture patterns, building scalable controls, and partnering with various engineering teams to reduce risk. The position offers senior technical leadership and the opportunity to address systemic security challenges.

• Lead infrastructure security architecture across AWS and colocation estates
• Define secure reference architectures, engineering standards, and reusable control patterns
• Strengthen cloud and hybrid security with effective controls and preventative guardrails
• Partner with engineering and product teams on threat modeling and security reviews
• Design and implement security tooling, integrations, and automated controls
• Provide senior technical leadership and mentor security engineers
