Staff Platform Security Engineer

Gemini is seeking a Staff Platform Security Engineer to build and deliver zero-trust foundations and secure cloud platforms. You will develop security services, tools, and automation, harden AWS environments, secure container orchestration, and implement infrastructure-as-code guardrails. This hands-on role requires writing production code daily and partnering with engineering teams to ensure secure delivery.

• Build and maintain security services, tools, and automation using Python or Go
• Design and implement security controls for AWS and Kubernetes environments
• Create reusable libraries, frameworks, and platforms for secure-by-default patterns
• Develop automated security monitoring, scanning, and remediation services
• Build CI/CD security gates and policy-as-code validation tools
• Partner with engineering teams on architecture and provide security consultation
