Information Security Engineer

Tenable is seeking a Security Engineer to join our Security Engineering & Architecture group. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain broad experience across cloud security operations, architecture reviews, and general security engineering disciplines. You will work with cross-functional teams to secure cloud and on-premise systems, identify misconfigurations, and contribute to risk assessments, making this an ideal position for early-career professionals eager to explore various facets of information security.

• Support cloud security operations across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP using CNAPP/CSPM tools
• Contribute to security architecture reviews for new systems, integrations, and vendors
• Identify and document misconfigurations, excessive permissions, and insecure IaC patterns
• Participate in risk assessments and threat modeling exercises
• Assist with IAM/RBAC reviews and least-privilege efforts
• Gain familiarity with AI/agentic systems and their security implications
