Security Software Engineer

Tailscale is seeking a security-focused software engineer to join their product security team. This role involves improving the security and privacy of Tailscale's software by implementing features, fixing bugs, and auditing for weaknesses. You will collaborate with engineering teams, conduct threat modeling, and spend at least 50% of your time writing code.

• Improve security and privacy of Tailscale codebase
• Audit features for technical security weaknesses
• Support engineering decisions with threat modeling
• Implement security and privacy features and bug fixes
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go)
• Experience in application security or penetration testing
