About this role

GDIT is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and optimize security infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. This hands-on role involves managing Palo Alto Networks firewalls, developing hybrid-cloud security architectures, and automating security operations. You will troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to modernizing our security posture.

What we are looking for

Design, deploy, and manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls and security policies
Develop secure hybrid-cloud architectures and network segmentation
Automate security operations using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
Troubleshoot complex network, firewall, and cloud connectivity issues
Experience with security frameworks like NIST 800-53/800-171
5+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience
